KREMPELKREMPEL is the world leader for back-sheet, a protection film positioned on the back of solar panels. The film proposed by KREMPEL is a combination of Tedlar® / PET and PVL (PVDF, PET, PVDF) materials, to protect the solar panels from climatic stress. These films are placed behind the panels, hence their name “back-sheet”.
| | The AKASOL range has two different films: polymer and/or Tedlar® film. The most commonly used product is the PET film, 75 microns thick with an external layer of PVF (38 or 25 microns thick). The PET films have the advantage of being dimensionally stable, dampness-resistant with excellent electrical insulation whereas PVF films ensure a good UV radiation resistance. KREMPEL films are available in the standard white, black, or transparent colour. Upon request we can propose other colours allowing for a better integration of solar modules in their environment. The lamination design and the film type and thickness chosen, greatly influence the technical characteristics of the product. The trend for larger photovoltaic modules implies managing the modules with stronger electrical power. |
